Art: Arcadian Landscapes 4 by David Gremard Romero: 2003Have you ever felt excluded from a place or group? It is within your sight or presence but yet you are still on the outside. In a simpler sense exclusion describes an instance of separation from something. That is what I see with this.
It also reminds me of a previous state in time, when lepers were banned from cities and forced to reside on the outskirts. This was an extreme case, but in today's world exclusion includes many forms. Included in this are the acts of excluding because of class, race, sex, etc. As a saying goes, "Who feels it knows."
Those doing the "excluding" have no idea how it feels to the "excluded".
